My name is Katie, author of Not Another LA Blonde. I am a twenty-something who was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from the CSU – Long Beach (Go Beach!).
Ever since high school, fashion has always been a passion of mine. In college, I majored in Marketing because I loved the idea of social media and be able to connect with so many people! After I graduated, I started an office job and felt unfulfilled so I decided to start my own blog in 2016! That is when Not Another LA Blonde was born. I knew I wanted something that would describe me and who I am, and my mom helped me come up with the name, which I think is perfect because I’m not like all the other blondes out here in LA!
So now, here we are in 2018, 2 years have passed since I created this space to give inspiration daily whether that be in fashion, beauty or just positive living.
A few more things about my home life: I have a husband, Robert, so if you hear or see me type that name that is my hubby. Haha, we got married in June 2018 but have been together for almost 10 years ~ started dating in 2011. No babies right now and probably not for another few years (3-4). We have a puppy child, Bella, a terrier who is 3. She is our world!!!
