What have I gotten myself into now?

Hey y’all I know that I have been a little MIA lately but I’ve just been so busy with work and going to Idaho to visit my brother in college and it being football season (I love watching high school football) that I forgot to mention a little something…

I am now the Assistant Cheer coach at my youngest brother’s high school. Now that I have started this new chaotic adventure, it has honestly taken up more time than I thought it would, but I am loving every second of it! I absolutely love cheer and everything that goes along with it (Friday night lights, outdoor practices, the thrill of finally hitting a new stunt, and of course all of the high school dramatics). I am coming into this team basically in the middle of the season (for those of you who have done cheer, you know that the season starts in June for Summer practice) and I’m not going to lie, it has been a challenge, but one I am definitely ready to take on. I can’t wait to share my new adventure with you all!

That’s all for now and I promise to start posting more frequently again!

    Until next time,

    XOXO

Good morning y’all!! I saw this quote this morning before work and it really got me thinking about life and who I have become as a person. We all want certain things in life, but they don’t always go as planned and maybe we hit a bump in the road from time to time.

We should always remember that we are all a work in progress and even though we may not be where we want to be yet, we are already so far from the person we were yesterday. We are constantly changing and evolving and it takes time; who you want to be isn’t going to magically happen overnight.

Take me for example, I know that I’m not the same girl I was when I started college (we all know the look: bright eyed and looking for a new life that college will bring) but life happens and you grow and learn from every experience. I have since gained knowledge and experience but I know that I am no where close to being who I want to be yet.

So until next time, always believe in yourself and never get discouraged that you’re not where you want to be yet! Perfection takes time and just like fine wine we all get better with age!

    XOXO
