The Lilly Pulitzer AFTER PARTY SALE!! Normally the sale falls before Labor Day, so I’ve been patiently waiting for the announcement. Mark your calendars and get ready because the sale is September 10-12. Who else has been waiting for these dates to be announced?
Lilly Pulitzer always has two sales a year, the first falls in January and the second happens at the end of summer. I’ve blogged about the After Party Sale twice already, last August and then again in January. This is the first time that Lilly has switched it up and pushed the sale to after Labor Day. Which if you’re asking me is better. The end of summer can be so hectic with last minute summer activities and it’s always a stressful time of year for me.

If you’re unfamiliar with the sale, you’re probably asking yourself why this is such a big deal. The After Party Sale is the ONLY time Lilly Pulitzer ever gets marked down! They don’t even have a sale section online.
Adie Short // $64 Sale $24
After shopping both the Summer and Winter sales, I think that the Summer one is BETTER. They have a bigger selection and you’ll see recent pieces from the Spring/Summer line. You can expect to see dresses, tops, bottoms, accessories and home good marked down over 50% off.
TIPS FOR SHOPPING THE LILLY PULITZER AFTER PARTY SALE
Set up a LillyPulitzer.com account. You’ll need an account to shop the sale and you can get a head start with the checkout process by making sure your shipping and payment information is up-to-date.
Use multiple devices. Just incase the site crashes have your phone or iPad ready to go.
Set your alarm & clear your morning schedule. Get your reminders ready so that you’re good to go at 8AM ET on Monday morning. You don’t want to miss out on any items
Know your sizing. At first I was a little worried because I didn’t know my Lilly sizing, but I would say it runs a bit big on me. I’m normally an XS in tops and a size 2 in bottoms/dresses, but when I order Lilly I always go with a 0 or XS/XXS. If you’re unsure you can review the size chart.
Shop smart and fast. EVERYTHING is fair game until you’ve finished checkout. Even if it’s in your cart, it doesn’t mean it won’t sell out.
Don’t buy just to buy. Think about what your closet is lacking or if you need to replace something. In January, I went into the sale knowing I was specifically looking to shop for my honeymoon. Keep in mind that everything is Final Sale so returns are not an option.
Set a budget. I know it’s hard not to go crazy when there’s a sale going on, but you still have to pay for all that great stuff you buy!
Understand the ordering process. Keep in mind that Lilly only has this sale twice a year and there are a TON of Lilly lovers out there. Everyone receives free standard shipping when they place their After Party Sale order, so be prepared to wait two weeks or more for your goodies to arrive.
