    Do you know the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale dates? I’ve been getting this question A LOT over the last few weeks and I am SO excited that I can finally answer! The sale starts this Monday, September 9th at 8am EST and ends on Wednesday, September 11th. So set your alarms and get ready!

    Get ready to freak out! This year’s After Party Sale will run similarly to previous sales, however there will be two drops of additional product on Tuesday, September 10th and one drop of additional products on Wednesday, September 11th. This is good news especially if you aren’t able to shop the sale right at 8AM on Monday. It also means Lilly Pulitzer likely has a TON of items they plan on including in the After Party Sale.

    For those of you who have been following me for a while the rest of this post won’t be news to you, but for those of you who have never shopped the sale before, here’s what you need to know.

    Lilly Pulitzer has two blowout sales a year, the first falls in January and the second happens at the end of summer/early fall. The After Party sale is the only time Lilly product ever gets marked down; there isn’t even a sale section on LillyPulitzer.com!

    At every After Party Sale you’ll likely see pieces from all the recent collections of the past year. You should expect to see dresses, tops, bottoms, and accessories marked down over 50% off.

    Online shoppers who hit the sale as soon as it starts will be placed in a virtual line before being granted access. Personally the wait times vary, I’ve waited anywhere from 5 minutes to about an hour. It can be frustrating, but let me tell you, it is worth the wait and you’re wallet will thank you!

    I’ve included some more shopping tips and After Party Sale practices below.

    TIPS FOR SHOPPING THE LILLY PULITZER AFTER PARTY SALE
    Set up a LillyPulitzer.com account. 

    You’ll need an account to shop the sale and you can get a head start with the checkout process by making sure your shipping and payment information is up-to-date.

    Use multiple devices. 

    Just incase the site crashes have your phone or iPad ready to go.

    Set your alarm & clear your morning schedule.

    Get your reminders ready so that you’re good to go at 8AM ET on Monday morning. You don’t want to miss out on any items.

    Know your sizing.

    At first I was a little worried because I didn’t know my Lilly sizing, but I would say it runs a bit big on me. I’m normally an XS in tops and a size 2 in bottoms/dresses, but when I order Lilly I always go with a 0 or XS/XXS. If you’re unsure you can review the size chart.

    Shop smart and fast. 

    EVERYTHING is fair game until you’ve finished checkout. Even if it’s in your cart, it doesn’t mean it won’t sell out.

    Don’t buy just to buy. 

    Think about what your closet is lacking or if you need to replace something. Keep in mind that everything is Final Sale so returns are not an option.

    Set a budget. 

    I know it’s hard not to go crazy when there’s a sale going on, but you still have to pay for all that great stuff you buy!

    Understand the ordering process. 

    Keep in mind that Lilly only has this sale twice a year and there are a TON of Lilly lovers out there. Everyone receives free standard shipping when they place their After Party Sale order, so be prepared to wait two weeks or more for your goodies to arrive.

    2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – What I Purchased

    The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has officially kicked off to Cardholders. I shopped the sale yesterday online and ordered a ton of basics and a few fall/winter items that I feel will be really useful. I don’t live somewhere that gets too cold/wet during the year, so I don’t have a huge need for sweaters and coats.

    Unfortunately, a lot of things have already sold out (I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they come back in stock), but I’m going to share what I purchased and I’ll link them in the event that they come back.

    SPANX Distressed Skinny Jeans: SALE: $85.50 After Sale: $128

    Fully stocked right now. Runs true to size. I ordered these in an XS. Controls and shapes problem areas such as tummy, hips, thighs and rear. They are high rise. These are the same brand as my fave faux-leather leggings. These seem to be fully stocked as of this morning!

    CASLON Rounded V-Neck Tee: SALE: $16 After Sale: $25

    I got this tee in the yellow stripe in an XS last year and loved it soo much I had to get it in the black stripe and grey this year. Available in 9 colors this year! These are great basic tees and a staple for my wardrobe. I can wear these all year round. This tee is going super quickly. They cancelled my black and white stipe and the grey one from my pick up in store option. Luckily I was able to order the grey one.

    VINCE CAMUTO Nestel Knee High Boot: SALE: $160 After Sale: $240

    Available in 3 colors and all still fully stocked. Classic, simple and essential for any wardrobe, this easy-to-wear boot features a softly pointed toe and tall shaft with concealed goring behind the knee. I ordered my regular 6.5, but should have gone with a 7.

    CONVERSE Chuck Taylor All Star Lift Sneaker: SALE: $47 After Sale: $70

    I am SUPER bummed about these. I ordered them in my normal converse size (they always seem to run a 1/2 size big, so I size down) and then Nordstrom cancelled my order because they ran out. Now they are going in and out of stock, so far only in larger sizes (9 and up). This is one of the items I’m hoping they restock!

    KATE SPADE Danalyn 54mm Polarized Sunglasses: SALE: $120 After Sale: $180

    I can not wait to get these!! I love my Kate Spade’s I got last year, and I know these will be perfect too. They come in both black and brown, I ordered the black pair.

    MAC Up Close and Personal Lip Kit: SALE: $36.50 After Sale: $54

    A trio of lip colors all packaged together in a special metallic rose-goldstone kit. This comes in the nude color and a pink color; I ordered the nude kit.

    MADEWELL Ryder Stripe Cardigan Sweater: SALE: $65 After Sale: $98

    Unfortunately, this is another item that sold out very quickly! I ordered a Medium and hopefully will be able to exchange it later for my regular size Small. Update – this item was cancelled from my order and is completely SOLD OUT. I hope they restock before the sale opens for everyone on Friday!

    UGG Scuffette II Slipper: SALE: $55 After Sale: $85

    Available in 5 colors, I ordered the Fawn/Brown in a size 6. I LOVE UGGs and ordered a pair of the short boots last year. So this year I had to get the slippers. These are still available in almost every color!

    THE NORTH FACE Magnolia Waterproof Rain Jacket: SALE: $84 After Sale: $120

    I ordered this jacket in the black in a size Small. I like my jackets to fit a little looser. This jacket comes in 4 different colors. Still fully stocked in all colors!

    SPANX Bra-llelujah! Full Coverage Underwire Bra: SALE: $45 After Sale: $68

    I got this in my regular size in the nude. I’ve heard soo many great things about this bra, so I figured I’d give it a shot while it’s on sale. It comes in a nude and a grey color. This item is now only available in the grey and looks like it does not come in A cup.

    DR. SCHOLL’S Leta Slip-On Sneaker: SALE: $60 After Sale: $90

    I have these slip-ons in the grey color and I love them! It’s like walking on clouds. I ordered these in my normal 6.5 in the Brown Suede, but they also come in pink (they’re super cute too). They seem to be pretty well stocked in both colors.

     NIKE 3-Pack No-Show Socks: SALE: $10 Value: $14

    I also ordered the 3 pack of black/white/tan no-show socks. They’re perfect for my slip-on sneakers and low cut booties! They’re a definite basic necessity.

    So there you have it, that’s everything I ordered from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. There are tons of other great deals out there and I may or may not have to do some more damage later (just don’t tell the hubby). If you’re hoping to get some great items I would suggest doing it sooner rather than later because things are selling out very quickly and may not come back in stock.
