January Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale – FAQS

Y’all know what time it is…it’s the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale! The sale starts TODAY, January 7th and Tuesday, January 8th on LillyPulitzer.com I’ve included the full details and timing below.

For those of you who have been following me for a while the rest of this post won’t be news to you, but for those of you who have never shopped the sale before, here’s what you need to know! Lilly Pulitzer has two blowout sales a year, the first falls in January and the second happens at the end of summer/early fall. The After Party sale is the only time Lilly product ever gets marked down; there isn’t even a sale section on LillyPulitzer.com!

At every After Party Sale you’ll likely see pieces from all the recent collections of the past year. You should expect to see dresses, tops, bottoms, and accessories marked down over 50% off.

Online shoppers who hit the sale as soon as it starts will be placed in a virtual line before being granted access. Personally the wait times vary, I’ve waited anywhere from 5 minutes to about an hour. It can be frustrating, but let me tell you, it is worth the wait and you’re wallet will thank you!

I’ve included some more shopping tips and After Party Sale practices below.

TIPS FOR SHOPPING THE LILLY PULITZER AFTER PARTY SALE

Set up a LillyPulitzer.com account. You’ll need an account to shop the sale and you can get a head start with the checkout process by making sure your shipping and payment information is up-to-date.

Use multiple devices. Just incase the site crashes have your phone or iPad ready to go.

Set your alarm & clear your morning schedule. Get your reminders ready so that you’re good to go at 8AM ET on Monday morning. You don’t want to miss out on any items.

Know your sizing. At first I was a little worried because I didn’t know my Lilly sizing, but I would say it runs a bit big on me. I’m normally an XS in tops and a size 2 in bottoms/dresses, but when I order Lilly I always go with a 0 or XS/XXS. If you’re unsure you can review the size chart.

Shop smart and fast. EVERYTHING is fair game until you’ve finished checkout. Even if it’s in your cart, it doesn’t mean it won’t sell out.

Don’t buy just to buy. Think about what your closet is lacking or if you need to replace something. In January, I went into the sale knowing I was specifically looking to shop for my honeymoon. Keep in mind that everything is Final Sale so returns are not an option.

Set a budget. I know it’s hard not to go crazy when there’s a sale going on, but you still have to pay for all that great stuff you buy!

Understand the ordering process. Keep in mind that Lilly only has this sale twice a year and there are a TON of Lilly lovers out there. Everyone receives free standard shipping when they place their After Party Sale order, so be prepared to wait two weeks or more for your goodies to arrive.

Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Picks

Happy Monday friends!! I hope y’all know what day it is…there’s no better way to start the week than with a sale! And I’m talking about the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale which is know LIVE!! I’ve shopped this sale twice before, last August and then again in January. I also posted last week about everything you need to know about the sale which you can read here. This is one of the only times that Lilly items go on sale so I always take advantage of it.

I logged on this morning at about 6am West Coast time (site opened 8amEST) and my wait time was over an hour! I waited and it was definitely worth it. Once you get in the site, just hit “Shop Now” and you’ll have access to the sale.

Below, I’ve linked some of my favorite items (I purchased almost all of the items below) Very important to note is the fact that ALL items are FINAL SALE so you need to be 100% sure that you want the item and that it’s your correct size.

ASHLYN SHIFT DRESS

Normally $198     On-Sale $69

This dress is super cute! I bought it in a 0 which is my regular size. I figured this would be perfect for a summer wedding or any upcoming showers I may have to attend this next year. I love the white lace trim at the waist! This is a printed shift dress. Currently fully stocked in ALL sizes!

ESSIE TOP

Normally $58     On-Sale $34

The Essie top is a sleeveless printed top with smocking around the neckline. This top is perfect for a casual Friday at the office or weekend wear. I got this in the Nauti Navy Capri Soleil (XXS only size left). Comes in 8 colors and a few of them still have a lot of sizes left. I actually have this top in two other colors from past sales and I got in an XS!

SLEEVELESS ESSIE DRESS

Normally $98     On-Sale $49

I love this top style so when I saw it in dress form, I knew I had to get it. I also got one for my mom in a different color than mine. I got the Multi Salt in the Air in an XS (currently out of stock). The Multi Slathouse Soiree, Bennet Blue Showstopper, and Multi Beach Please still have a ton of sizes left.

ISLE LATTICE ONE PIECE SUIT

Normally $138     On-Sale $69

The Isle Lattice One Piece is the ultimate chic swimsuit. The back also has a lattice design. This particular color (Multi Shady Lady Swim) is only available in 0 or 2. This suit is fully stocked in the Bennet Blue Celestial Seas color.

BRYCE ROMPER

Normally $158     On-Sale $54

Inspired by the Bryce top. The notched neckline and slit details make this the perfect romper for either dressing up or down. Available in XXS, XS, and XL. This romper is also available in 2 other colors which are fully stocked in sizes.

4″ ADIE SHORT

Normally $64     On-Sale $29

I love these, I have them in Pink and White! The 4″ length is the perfect length. These shorts have front pockets and scalloped side seam hem details. These shorts are perfect to dress up for a dinner. The navy and the pink are fully stocked in all sizes. I got these in the Navy in my regular size 0.

PACKABLE ESCAPE WEEKENDER

Normally $134     On-Sale $39

This is such a good deal, almost $100 off! That is insane! It looks like the perfect size for a weekend getaway for a carry-on for the plane.

I usually try and purchase with specific usage or events in mind, but if I’m being honest, this season I didn’t do that. I took a look around and bought what I thought was cute. My advice is to think about what’s currently in your closet and what you may have been missing this summer or what needs to be replaced. I can’t wait for my items to get delivered so I can give y’all an update on how everything fits!

I’M BBBAAACCKKKK!!!! I know it’s been a while since I last posted, but I’ve just had so much going on in my personal life. But I wanted to get back on here and let y’all know about this really great sale!

The Lilly Pulitzer AFTER PARTY SALE!! Normally the sale falls before Labor Day, so I’ve been patiently waiting for the announcement. Mark your calendars and get ready because the sale is September 10-12. Who else has been waiting for these dates to be announced?

Lilly Pulitzer always has two sales a year, the first falls in January and the second happens at the end of summer. I’ve blogged about the After Party Sale twice already, last August and then again in January. This is the first time that Lilly has switched it up and pushed the sale to after Labor Day. Which if you’re asking me is better. The end of summer can be so hectic with last minute summer activities and it’s always a stressful time of year for me.
